MISA Zimbabwe reported today that security officials reportedly ordered journalists to delete pictures of Zimbabwe Vice President Kembo Mohadi after he reportedly collapsed while addressing a Zanu PF campaign launch in Gutu West constituency.

The seat is being contested by Zanu PF deputy youth secretary John Paradza.

MISA Zimbabwe said that according to The Standard edition of 22 October 2023, Vice President Mohadi collapsed on the podium and was airlifted to an unknown destination for medical attention.

Security agents, however, quickly rounded up journalists covering the event and ordered them to delete all pictures of Mohadi’s fall.
