The Government Institutions Pension Fund (GIPF) opened a brand new office building in Outapi, the regional capital of Omusati.

The official opening that took place on 25 March was attended by GIPF’s Vice Chairperson of the Board of Trustees Mr Evans Maswahu, Omusati Regional Governor Mr Erginus Endjala, GIPF’s CEO Mr Martin Inkumbi, and other officials from government institutions based in Omusati.

The office will be staffed by eight employees, under Mr Ludwig Naunyango as the regional manager.

“You no longer need to call our office in Windhoek,” said Mr Maswahu. “All services which are available in Windhoek are also available here.”

The office building cost some N$6 million, and is situated in Isak Pondo Street, not far from Omusati Regional Council.
