For this reason the company has announced the appointment of Mr Morgan Beukes as its new IT Risk and Information Security Manager, operating under the Second Line of Defense within Letshego’s Risk Function.
Prior to joining Letshego Holdings Namibia, Beukes served as a senior IT audit consultant at Deloitte, where he gained valuable experience in auditing IT infrastructure, identifying gaps in cybersecurity frameworks, and ensuring the effective operation of internal controls.
In addition to his professional achievements, Mr Beukes is proud of his personal accomplishments, including obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Honors) from the University of Namibia (UNAM), pursuing additional certifications, and starting a small business, all of which reflect his drive and entrepreneurial spirit.
“I look forward to contributing my skills and experience to drive continuous growth and address the challenges in this new setting.
“My goal is to collaborate with different teams to ensure we align with Letshego’s strategic goals and implement the appropriate internal controls to mitigate various risks,” said Beukes.
