Wild Dog was the main act at the Ongwediva Annual Trade Fair’s award ceremony that took place on 29 August at Ongwediva Annual Trade Fair Centre.

The legendary Oviritje group put up a lively and live performance which kept everyone mesmerised not only by the dance moves of the act but also by the deep and resonating voice of the singer.

The singer, Steve Uahupirapi, sang some of the classic Wild Dog tracks from a decade ago, as well as some new tracks tuned to fit the day and occasion.

His dancers Vanessa Gaes, Bobos Kapenaze, Sien Katjiparatjivi, and keyboardist Tjindu Nguvauva, all had the hall afire with music most people could relate to although the language of musical expression was Otjiherero.
