Omaalala Primary School will hold an event to raise funds for the construction of a school hall.
The school will be calling on its community members, former learners and current learners, as well as Good Samaritans to come together and raise the funds needed to construct the new school hall.
Mr Petrus Josef who is a member of the school board came up with the idea of holding a fundraising at the school in order to construct the hall which will be used for various gatherings at the school.
The fundraising will consist of activities such as a mini expo, braais and entertainment, as well as an occasion to receive donations of any kind from anybody in an effort to raise the needed funds.
The fundraising event will be held at Omaalala settlement, at the Village View from 20 to 22 September.
“This fundraising will not only help the school but also the whole community since the hall will be used to hold parents meetings and other public gatherings at our school,” says Josef.
“The place for the fundraising is close to the main road from Ondangwa to Oshakati, all are invited. Come and support Omaalala, come in big numbers.”
The school so far does not have a principal after the former principal Mr Nikodemus Shimpanda went into retirement.
The fundraising’s organisers can be reached on their numbers, for Josef 0812224325 and for Hilma Nambala 0812405624.
