The Development Bank of Namibia (DBN) announced the handover of N$100,000 to Ben van der Walt Primary School in Gobabis.

This donation is aimed at enhancing educational resources and supporting the ongoing development initiatives at the school.

The handover ceremony, attended by a delegation from the Bank, le by Jerome Mutumba, Chief Marketing & Corporate Affairs Officer, highlighted the commitment of the DBN to investing in quality education.

The funds will be used to improve learning facilities, upgrade teaching materials, and implement programs that directly benefit the students and community.

“We are delighted to support Ben van der Walt Primary School in its mission to provide a nurturing and resourceful learning environment,” said Mutumba. “This contribution is part of our broader commitment to fostering educational excellence and community development in the Omaheke region.”

The school principal, Ms. M. Muhinda, expressed sincere gratitude for the generous donation, emphasizing the positive impact it will have on the school’s infrastructure and the overall quality of education offered to the students.
