Letshego Holdings Namibia announced the appointment of Ms Akalemwa Sibanda as its Head for Marketing, Communications and Customer Experience.

In a statement, Letshego said that with over a decade of experience in advertising, brand strategy, and marketing, Sibanda brings a dynamic and results-driven approach to the role.

Reflecting on her appointment, Sibanda noted, “I see my role at Letshego not just as a professional opportunity, but as a calling to help create more inclusive and empowering customer experiences for all Namibians. I am thrilled for an opportunity to be part of a brand that’s not just growing but evolving.”

Sibanda holds an Honours degree in Brand Leadership and Strategy from the Vega School of Brand Communication in Cape Town, a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications from Helderberg College, and a Certificate in Digital Marketing from the University of Cape Town.

She brings valuable experience to Letshego, having begun her career at Adforce Namibia, where she gained deep insights into client engagement, strategic planning, and integrated campaigns. She later moved into the banking sector with Bank Windhoek, overseeing brand and digital marketing.

Most recently, she spent seven years at Old Mutual Namibia, serving as Marketing Consultant for the Retail Mass Market and Personal Loans business units, where she developed and executed campaigns that significantly contributed to business growth and customer engagement.

Letshego Holdings Namibia congratulated Sibanda on her appointment and welcome the energy, creativity, and purpose she brings to the team.
