The Namibia Industrial Development Agency (NIDA) and the Namibia Food and Allied Workers Union (NAFAU), with the support of the Ministry of Industrialisation and Trade, have concluded a settlement agreement addressing employee remuneration and conditions of employment for the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 financial years.

Both parties have now reached a full and final settlement, ensuring labour stability and continuity of operations.

“This settlement ensures fair and improved working conditions for employees while maintaining operational efficiency and fostering industrial harmony,” said Mr Wessel !Nanuseb, NIDA’s Senior Manager for Human Resources.

“NIDA remains committed to spearheading the industrialization agenda for Namibia.”
