The Oshakati Totem Expo’s 2026 edition has officially been announced, scheduled to take place from 29 May to 6 June 2026 at Oshakati Independence Stadium

In a statement, Mr Martin Kapuka, the corporate communication officer at Oshakati Town Council, said that, now in its 14th year, the Oshakati Totem Expo has evolved into a prominent annual multi-sectoral trade and cultural exhibition that celebrates Namibian heritage while promoting business growth, entrepreneurship, tourism, and community development.

To be hosted under the theme: “Celebrating Ties Through Culture” this year’s expo will continue prioritising culture over commerce.

“This year’s theme highlights the unifying power of culture and its role in strengthening social cohesion, identity, and economic participation,” said Kapuka.

“The expo aims to create a dynamic platform where culture, commerce and community converge.”

An estimated 25 000 visitors are expected to attend the 2026 edition, reflecting the expo’s sustained growth and strong public interest.

Entrance fees will be N$20 for adults while children pay N$10.
