Oshamukweni Farming, situated 45 km from Okongo on the way to Mpungu, was the overall winner at the just-ended Ohangwena Agri-food Confex which took place in Eenhana.

The expo attracted 98 exhibitors, most of whom came to put on display various agricultural products produced in Ohangwena and nearby regions such as Kavango West and Oshana.

Those who were in the livestock farming category were however put in a competition where they were judged according to the quality of their products which ranged from goats, chickens, and guinea fowls.

Oshamukweni Farming emerged as the overall winner by walking away with: Poultry (guinea fowl and chicken) hens – cash of N$500,

Poultry (guinea fowl and chicken) cocks – cash of N$500,

Male small livestock (goat) – cash of N$500,

Female small livestock (goat) and Overall champion small livestock – cash of N$750 and a trophy,

And Overall champion poultry (guinea fowl) – cash of N$500 and a trophy.
