The week of 18 to 22 September was a hive of activities in many schools, work places and government institutions as people celebrated the Heritage Week.

The Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture in Oshana held a one day event on 21 September at the Arts and Culture Office, where invited guests came together to celebrate their heritage under the theme: ‘”Heritage and Culture – a Rock-Solid Foundation” in Namibian Sign Language’.

There were speeches, dances as well as traditional drinks and lunch.

In the photo is one of the groups of children who were there to entertain the people as was done since hundreds of years ago by their fore-bearers.
