Nothing ventured, nothing gained

By Josefina Gabriel /

In life we have to try out something, to do it and then expect good fruits or a good harvest.

You have to plant something, to sow some seeds.

Although things may be difficult to do, although you don’t have the resources or the knowledge of how to do it well, you just have to take action in following your dreams because nothing ventured is equal to nothing gained.

You have to venture. You just have to do it. If you do your best God will do the rest. It doesn’t matter what it is. If your intentions are good and if your motivations are faultless, then God can meet you half-way.

Writing a book is difficult and it needs patience and discipline. But if you do your best God can do the rest.

It is the same with starting a business, or studying for a career, looking for a job, writing a book, or even planting a field in expectation of a good rainfall. Nothing ventured is nothing gained.

Never think that no one will help you in your project. Never doubt yourself. But have faith that somehow someway someone will provide everything that you don’t have in completing your project.
