KK Palace beat Blue Boys by one goal to nil on Saturday, and finished off the wonderful weekend at home by beating Blue Waters by two goals to nil.
This made KK Palace, also known as Onamungundo Lions, to collect the maximum six points over the weekend. The results are valuable to KK who has struggled to stay afloat in the premier league.
The results pushed KK Palace to the 9th spot on the logstanding, with 20 points after 16 games.
KK Palace’s sister team, Eeshoke Chula Chula, collected four points over the weekend at the same stadium, also playing on home ground as KK Palace, at Oshakati Independence Stadium. Chula Chula on Saturday drew nil-nil against Blue Waters, but on Sunday Chula Chula collected the needed three points by beating Blue Boys two goals to nil.
The results made Chula Chula to stand at eighth spot on the league table with 23 points after 16 games.
