The Namibian University of Science and Technology (NUST), through the Harold Pupkewitz Graduate School of Business (HP-GSB) has announced the appointment of Ms. Katarina Kamari as Head of Marketing, Corporate Communications and Stakeholder Engagement effective 1st June 2026.
Ms. Kamari brings with her extensive experience in strategic communications, stakeholder relations, public affairs, brand management and media engagement, accumulated over several years across both the public and regional sectors.
Kamari cut her teeth in the public relations and corporate communications sector when she served as the public relations and corporate communications officer for the Oshakati Town Council for several years until a few months ago when she went to the Benguela Current company, before now landing the role of head of marketing and corporate communications at the Harold Pupkewits Graduate School of Business.
She holds a Master of Communication Science Degree and is a Certified Chartered Public Relations Practitioner (CPRP) through the Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa (PRISA).
In her new role, Ms. Kamari will lead the school’s marketing, corporate communications and stakeholder engagement portfolio, focusing on strengthening the HP-GSB brand, enhancing stakeholder relationships, increasing visibility, supporting student recruitment initiatives and positioning the school as a leading centre of business and executive education in Namibia and beyond.
