MTC Namibia has today extended services accessibility in Erongo region with the opening of a new and first Mobile Home in Kuisebmund community.
The new store marks MTC’s third customer service outlet in Walvis Bay.
The development is part of the company’s ongoing strategy to improve accessibility, convenience, and customer experience across the country.
The establishment of the Kuisebmund MobileHome is due to the growing population of Walvis Bay, increasing demand for accessible telecommunications services, and the need to provide customers with a convenient location to access MTC’s wide range of products and services.
MTC’s General Manager for Sales, Enterprise & CRM, Elton Katangolo said the expansion reflects MTC’s continued investment in creating customer-centric service environments that respond to the changing needs of communities.
“Walvis Bay continues to grow, and with that growth comes the need for reliable, accessible, and convenient customer service points,” Katangolo said.
“The opening of our Kuisebmund MobileHome ensures that customers in this community can access MTC services closer to where they live while enjoying the quality service experience they have come to expect from us.
“This new space features a modern and customer-friendly environment designed to enhance service delivery and customer experience.”
Queried on what services customers can access at the new Mobile Home, Katangolo said, “Customers will have access to MTC’s full range of services, including SIM registration and replacement, account-related services, prepaid and postpaid solutions, mobile data services, device purchases, and digital financial services through MTC Maris.
“If you are from Kuisebmund, you will not need to travel to town anymore.”
This is MTC’s 42nd mobile home nationally. The company continues to demonstrate commitment to expanding national footprint in line with the market and national needs.
Early this year, Okongo in Ohangwena received its new mobile home, while Okuryangava settlement in Katutura, Windhoek, last week got a permanent Mobile Home from a temporary container.
For the 2027 financial year, possible new outlets are earmarked for Omaruru, Otjinene and potentially Outjo.
