Oshana Regional Council has extended the contract of the Chief Regional Officer (CRO), Ms. Teopolina NL Hamutumua, for a further five-year period.

Ms. Hamutumua’s current five-year term, which ends on 31 August 2026, and it has been extended for another five years, effective from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2031.

“The Council recognises Ms. Hamutumua as a dedicated, results-driven and committed leader who continues to demonstrate strong leadership in advancing the mandate and objectives of the Council,” said Ms Nuusita Ashipala, the Regional Council’s Public Relations Officer.

“Her commitment to excellence and her determination to see the council excel have contributed to the continued efforts to improve service delivery and advance regional development.

“The Council is confident that Ms. Hamutumua’s continued leadership will contribute positively to the achievement of its strategic priorities and the delivery of quality services to the people of Oshana.

“The Council congratulates Ms. Hamutumua on her reappointment and wishes her continued success as she leads the Council in fulfilling its mandate over the next five years.”
