Yinson Production announced the appointment of Bruno Chabas to its Board of Directors, effective 1 October 2025.
Mr Chabas brings more than three decades of global leadership experience in the offshore energy sector. From 2012 to 2024, he served as Chief Executive Officer of SBM Offshore N.V., a publicly traded global leader in offshore energy solutions.
During his 12-year tenure, he oversaw the company’s strategic transformation, steering growth through new floating production technologies and entry into renewable energy markets.
As Yinson Production continues to strengthen its position as a leading player in the lease and operate space for floating production, storage and offloading solutions, Mr Chabas’ appointment underscores the company’s commitment to building a world-class leadership team to support its long-term growth strategy.
Mr Chabas previously held executive and leadership roles at Acergy (formerly Stolt Offshore and presently Subsea 7), where he progressed through senior financial and operational positions across the USA, France, and the UK before becoming Chief Operating Officer.
Mr Chabas began his career in finance and holds an MBA with High Distinction from Babson College. He is a dual citizen of Switzerland and France.
