Making a comeback to the Namibian Premier League after many years, KK Palance FC has made great inroads so far with round eleven of matches played.
The team from Ondangwa sits in position two on the logtable, with equally 17 points as those of African Stars who is at the top.
In fact what separates the two at the top is just the goal difference, as both African Stars and KK Palace have played 9 games, and won 5, drew 2 and lost 2.
In the previous round, KK Palace went to the top of the league after collecting the maximum six points over the weekend, only to move to second spot last weekend when the team lost their second match of the season so far.
KK Palace’s current exploits overshadows the exploits of sister team Eeshoke Chula Chula who in their debut premier league season last year made some great inroads which made football pundits to be lost for words.
“KK Palace’s current form is tremendous, and if they can keep the momentum throughout until the end of the season then, they can surely win the league,” said Silas Josef, a fan of Eeshoke Chula Chula.
Over the coming weekend KK Palace will travel to Windhoek to face Khomas Nampol and African Stars.
