Do take yourself out on a date

By Elina-Ombili Shishaki

I am flabbergasted by the way some people conduct themselves at events, especially when it comes to part-C (eating); the moment when men in suits and women in high heels begin to fight for food.

The question is that what is really hungry: the stomach or the soul?

Some people don’t seem to be in shortage of food in their houses, but at events you see them fighting and falling over food.

This makes me to think that people’s souls are hungry.

So that with or without a job it’s always important to take yourself out on a date. If not then at least cook better food for yourself, eat your heart out just once in a while. Satisfy your stomach and soul with all it deserves to prevent embarrassing yourself in public.

It doesn’t matter if you are married or not, taking yourself on a date and treating yourself to some good food can mean you improve yourself confidence where food is concerned and you can have a better reflection of your true self.

Learn to live independently; you have a gift of life just spend some time with yourself, spoil yourself with some beautiful gifts. Fulfil your own wishes and don’t be dependent on special occasions to do the best for you.

It is high time that people stop murmuring during occasions that they didn’t eat or drink or get the attention they wanted. Start taking your own responsibility and full control over your oesophagus. When you take yourself out, you discover your new self and exposure over certain things.

You will always respect and trust yourself in any ways. This will help you build a better relationship with others as much as with yourself. You will be confident and always reminded to take control of yourself.

It is always important to take yourself out on a date, not always but at least for once to satisfy your desire for food. Don’t wait for anyone to do it for you, but start doing good to yourself.

Just plan a simple date for yourself, and this will help sooth your mind.
