Beatrix Bianca Boois Attorneys has successfully brought a formal bail application in the Swakopmund Magistrate’s Court for Mr Takudzwa Blessing Marimo, the 22 year-old Zimbabwean national who was involved in a motor vehicle accident on 27 July 2021 outside of Henties Bay.
Marimo was arrested and charged for culpable homicide after a truck he was driving veered into the road, smashing with an oncoming government vehicle of which the driver, Mr Jason Amukwaya, died instantly on impact.
Marimo was released today on bail of N$5000, with conditions that he surrenders his passport and not leave the district of Swakopmund until his next court appearance on 29 November 2021.
