Namibian Christine Mboma won the Women’s 100m sprint at the Gaborone International Meet in the weekend clocking 10.97, making it her first major win in the short sprint.
Mboma, who won silver at the last Olympics in the 200m, also won the Gaborone Women’s 200m by clocking 21.87 seconds, signaling that she is set to dominate both the 100m and 200m sprints in the near future.
