Be that person
By Josefina Gabriel /
Certainly people make mistakes in life, and that’s normal because as we are human beings in flesh, so we mess up in many things.
For this reason we need to learn why we need to forgive those who offended us.
You need to learn to forgive and to apologize. If you don’t know how to forgive those who pained you then you can’t forgive yourself too. And don’t expect to be forgiven.
REMEMBER: you really need to forgive, not because the person that hurt you deserves it but you are doing this for yourself. Choose to move on always, no one is perfect in life.
If you’re avoiding people for their mistakes you will be alone in this world, so judge less and learn to love more.
Do you know that it’s very classy and powerful when you have shown forgiveness and grace to someone who does not deserve it from you?
The only first thing you need to do is to know how to accept your mistakes. Let go of all you did in the past because you are not perfect. Stop running away from the shadows of the past otherwise you can easily be trapped in the darkness of shattered memories. Live in the present and open that page.
In the blink of an eye, anything can change, those who died yesterday had hope for this morning and those who died this morning had a hope for tomorrow, therefore don’t ever take life for granted.
Rather take these steps:
– Slow down
– Don’t hate
– Be happy
– Give thanks
– Stop over-thinking
– Be positive
– What others think of you it’s none of your business
You don’t need to have a mark on your forehead to be matured but when you get to forgive the person who hurt you and accept their situation instead, that will be a mark of maturity.
To forgive is to get a prisoner out of jail and you will know that the prisoner was you.
