With 32 athletes participating in seven sports, Namibia won four medals, all of which are bronze, at the 2022 Commonwealth Games that took place in the United Kingdom’s city of Birmingham from 28 July to 8 August 2022.
Helalia Johannes was first in the women’s marathon to win a bronze medal on 30 July. On 3rd August cyclist Alex Miller won bronze in men’s cross-country cycling. Then it was Ananias Shikongo who on 4th August won bronze in the men’s 100m T12.
Finally, Christine Mboma rounded off Namibia’s tally with a bronze medal in women’s 200m athletics on 6 August 2022.
