Why do we pray?

By Josefina Gabriel /

Life without prayer is so hard because there is no way that you can live without talking to your father.

That’s the reason why we pray – it’s to communicate with him through prayer.

We pray to find direction in life, pray to get helped, get healed, to be transformed through different obstacles. Through this God normally listens to us and answers the person based on his right time, because he knows you better.

What can prayers do?

Prayers can give strength from almighty God; by praying you can easily get hope, energy to wait and stay on even if things are not so well. Prayer can give someone an opportunity for better understanding in faith and in life. Prayer allows us to worship and praise the Lord by seeking help or forgiveness of our sins.

Indeed prayer attracts God’s presence into your life. Where there is prayer there is God’s ear listening to all your problems, worries, concerns, fears, and whatever it is that you think you can’t handle alone.

Prayer attacks demons and spirits of the darkness. When you pray you fight back against all the enemies and evil spirits; prayer unlocks our potential, and prayer can set us free from all bondage and blockages.

Praying is a wonderful thing to do because where there is prayer there is happiness and freedom.

Therefore let’s be alert and be vigilant through prayer because we are in bad days.
