The Namibian Newspaper Cup competition started today and all the 14 regions are represented by young footballers who are the future prospects of Namibia.

The competition, which consists of soccer and netball will end on Sunday the 28th of August.

Through the middle of the first half Oshana scored a penalty after one of their players was fouled in the box as he faced the goalkeeper. But through the second half Erongo responded with a powerful strike that made the ball visible only when it rebounded from the back of the net.

Thus the game ended in a one-all draw.
