Namibian President Nangolo Mbumba paid a courtesy visit to Ohamba (Queen) of Oukwanyama Traditional Authority, Dr Martha Mwadinomho yaKristian Nelumbu.
President Mbumba lauded Meekulu Mwadinomho for her exemplary leadership, advocating for the welfare of all, including children and the elderly.
Mbumba highlighted the Queen’s tireless efforts in ensuring access to water, food security, and above all fostering peace within her community.
Additionally, President Mbumba expressed delight with the recognition bestowed upon Meekulu Mwadinomho by Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), which honoured her with an Honorary Doctorate degree.
“Therefore, today, I have come simply to greet my friend, to express gratitude to her, and to thank God for blessing her with longevity, a kind heart, wisdom, and her invaluable contributions to us.
“Not only to the people of Ohangwena Region but to all of Namibia. May God bless her with many more years, strength of heart, and wisdom so she can continue to offer us sound advice.”
