It is at the upcoming Ongwediva Annual Trade Fair (OATF), taking place from 23 to 31 August 2024, where the Fund will be partnering with the Ondangwa Private Hospital to provide wellness screenings to GIPF pensioners and visitors to the GIPF stand.

The Fund will offer a wide range of services to its active members, pensioners, spousal and children beneficiaries such as biometric enrolment and verification, update on membership status, pension benefits, claim procedures, submission and claims status.
Members may acquire benefit and income statement printouts and receive advise on preparing for retirement and other general queries.
The Fund will be joined by other partners such as Kuleni Financial Services, the Public Service Medical Aid Scheme (PSEMAS), and the Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA).
These partners will provide pension related services pertaining to benefits, medical aid and issues related to taxes .
“In addition to the additional services to be provided during the OATF, the Fund is pleased to inform its members that it will be hosting pre-retirement workshops in Omuthiya on 21 August 2024, Oshakati and Ongwediva on the 28 and 29 August respectively,” said GIPF’s General Manager for Marketing and Stakeholder Engagement.
“These preretirement workshops are aimed at members between the ages of 50 to 59 years of age. Members wishing to visit the GIPF at the OATF can find the Fund and its trade fair partners in a clearly branded marquee tent outside the Queens Hall.
