As Namibia prepares to commemorate Heroes Day on 26 August, under the theme “Honouring Our Martyrs: Heroes and Heroines,” Letshego Holdings Namibia took some time out of their work schedules this week to reflect on the unity and freedom secured by the nation’s heroes.

Letshego Namibia Holdings CEO Dr Ester Kali said that 26 August “serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made for our independence and the rich diversity that defines our nation.

“At Letshego, diversity is a foundational pillar of the organisational culture and key to its success.”

Kingsley Guiseb, Head of People and Culture at Letshego Namibia, highlighted the critical role diversity plays in driving the organisation forward.

“The uniqueness of our people fuels creativity and innovation, allowing us to serve our microlending and banking customers better, with inclusive financial solutions,” Guiseb said.

“Our differences are not just acknowledged but celebrated as the very source of our strength and a crucial factor in our business growth.”

Guiseb stated further that Letshego Namibia remains steadfast in exemplifying its core organisational values of Ubuntu, ownership, diversity, and forward-thinking.

“These principles shape the culture of unity and excellence, guiding the organisation to continue honouring the legacy of our nation’s heroes by fostering a workplace that reflects the true spirit of Namibia.”
