Guests at the Oshakati Totem Expo Gala Dinner were not only treated to delicious dishes and sparkling drinks after they made huge pledges amounting to more than half a million dollars, they were also treated to upbeat music by Ndawana.
Ndawana, an afrobeat artist originally from Onandjaba, put on a scintillating display at the event attended by Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare, Oshana Governor Elia Irimari, Deputy Prime Minister Natangwe Iithete, Justice and Labour Minister Wise Immanuel, and other local dignitaries from local authorities across Namibia.
The gala dinner which took place on Saturday was attended by hundreds of people, mostly business people and local authority officials from towns across the north. Representatives from the City of Windhoek also attended the gala dinner.
