Tate Buti’s latest musical offering, titled “ombululu,” not only consists of his trademark kwiku style and sound but it also comes with a rich blend of touch by a lot of other local artists.
The album is rich, with 22 tracks.
With Gazza and Ponti being featured on “I was born to do this”, this album is not a pure kwiku sound .
Others who added their vocal magic include Top Cheri, featuring on “Uutalala”, while Patrick Sikiliza and Teqla feature on “Mama Africa”.
Sweetie Namibia is featured on “Ombili”, DJ Vuyo is featured on “Viva”, while Omfenhu waNangula is featured on “Odamukokotwa” and KP Illest is featured on “Keenumba domusamane”.
As Tate Buti says that “every hole tells a different story”, this ‘ombululu’ is set to produce fire for the shebeen floors as it tells various stories.
