The celebrations at Oshana Region, which took place at the Independence Stadium at Oshakati, on 21 March, was an occasion for entertainment and fun.
Few speeches were given and more entertaining acts were offered for an audience which was very youthful.
Some of those who performed at the occasion, which was attended by Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare, and Oshana Governor Hofni Iipinge, included Oshana Igarib #naisa Taradi, Nshikoya Cultural Group, Beata Akawa Cultural Group, The Regional Multi-Cultural Group, Eluwa Cultural Group, Oshana Youth Choir, and Mbuku.
