African Stars FC won the Namibian Football Premier League after beating FC Ongos by 2 goals to nil.
Two last matches of the season which were played on Sunday afternoon, one between Bucks Buccaneers and Eeshoke Chula Chula in Oshakati, and the one between FC Ongos and African Stars in Windhoek, had to determine the winner of the league.
The two matches played at the same time, but when the final whistle of the match between Eeshoke Chula Chula and Bucks Buccaners was blew, the game ended in favour of Eeshoka Chula Chula who won by one goal to nil.
When the final whistle of the match between African Stars and FC Ongos was blew, African Stars won the game by two goals to nil.
This made the final league tally to have African Stars at the top with 58 points while Eeshoke Chula Chula was in second spot with 57 points.
As a result African Stars won the league of 2025/26.
