Namibia is set to take centre stage in Africa’s aviation landscape as it hosts Aviation Week Africa 2026, from 22 to 24 April 2026 at the Mövenpick Hotel in Windhoek and Eros Airport.

Held under the theme “Linking Africa: Partners for Growth,” the event will bring together government leaders, aviation authorities, airlines, airports, investors, and private sector stakeholders from across the continent and beyond.

The platform is designed to drive strategic dialogue, partnerships, and practical solutions to strengthen intra-African connectivity.

Aviation Week Africa has quickly established itself as a premier Pan-African platform, uniquely bridging policy and business. This year’s edition is expected to attract a high calibre of delegates, reinforcing its role as a key convening point for industry decision-makers.

The 2026 event comes at a pivotal time for Namibia as the country advances plans to re-establish its national carrier.

Aviation Week Africa provides a timely platform to support this ambition by enabling engagement between government, investors, and industry players, while positioning Namibia as a growing regional aviation hub.

The event is backed by strong government and private sector participation, reflecting a shared commitment to leveraging aviation as a driver of economic growth, tourism, trade, and regional integration.

Key discussions will focus on route development, infrastructure investment, airline partnerships, innovation, and skills development.

“Africa’s aviation future will be shaped by how effectively we work together. Aviation Week Africa is a platform for building the partnerships that will drive sustainable growth and connectivity across the continent.”

The programme will also feature targeted networking sessions, business-to-business meetings, exhibitions, and youth engagement initiatives, ensuring broad and impactful participation across the aviation ecosystem.
