A man in Katima Mulilo became the first winner of a car through the MTC Fan Cup Trivia, a national Recharge & SMS Trivia campaign.
Mr John Nzundamo drove away in style as the proud owner of the first-ever Jetour Dashing Deluxe SUV awarded through the competition on 13 May 2026.
The campaign, which combines daily football trivia with rewarding customer engagement, saw Nzundamo become its first grand prize winner.
Interviewed at the live show, John expressed that he was overwhelmed with excitement.
“I can’t believe it,” he said.
“I did not expect to win anything, and I am very happy. I’m very thankful for the car.”
The thrilling live finale saw three finalists from across the country battle it out for the keys to the luxury vehicle, including the winner John Nzundamo from Katima Mulilo, Tangi Shimuningeni from Walvis Bay, and Jason Kungunwa from Grootfontein.
Following an exciting showdown, Nzundamo emerged victorious, becoming the first grand prize winner of the campaign.
The excitement is far from over, with the first Jetour Dashing Deluxe SUV officially claimed, three more luxury SUVs are still up for grabs as the campaign continues nationwide until the 19th July 2026.
Speaking on the campaign, Tim Ekandjo, the Chief Brand, Marketing, Communications, and Sustainability Officer, expressed that the MTC Fan Cup Trivia was designed to reward customer loyalty while tapping into the passion and energy football brings to communities across Namibia.
