God is Able

By Josefina “Ndeshi” Gabriel |

Most of the times we walk, suffer, mourn, fight, and run all alone and forget that there is someone who is greater than all the issues mentioned above.

Life is like a football game that everyone has to play in the field. A game that sometimes you have to win or lose, you fall and stand again. It contains possibility for all things good or bad such as failure, success, sadness, happiness, wickedness, shamefulness, rejoicing, humbleness and pride, death, growth and many more.

Sometimes we feel rejected and stuck in a bad life situation, which makes us believe that we are alone and nobody can do anything about it. But this is not true. We are never alone. We always have someone who is with us during all the seasons and situations mentioned above.

Yes, we must pass through all that bad stuff, but it doesn’t mean that he is not with us. Sometimes things can happen so as to create another opportunity in our lives. We suffer so that we may gain strength.

All you need to know is that there is someone who is able to do all things by faith.

And believing in him will drive him closer to us by his grace and love which is always following us.

And that is our almighty God that is able. He is bigger than our fears, worries, problems, and hopelessness.

Of course there are things which seem to be the Goliaths in our lives, like giants, things which we believe they will never end and we believe that they are there to destroy us.

But let me assure you that God is able to remove all these Goliaths from our lives. What you need to do is to stand up and believe with prayers and say to that Goliath in your life that there is someone who has to replace you from today on and that’s God who is able by faith.

In sickness he is the healer, in distress he is the comforter, in trouble he is the solution, in fear he is the protector, in suffering he is the redeemer, in worries he is the counselor, in hopelessness he is our hope, in weakness he is our strength, in death he is life. And he is the way for those who are lost.

He can heal the bleeding wounds, wipe away tears, give a smile to a sad face, and lift up those who have fallen down.

What we need to do is to seek and find, knock and the door will open, call and his voice will be heard. We can always trust him because he raised us from our childhood until today. And he will be there for us tomorrow and forever his mercy and grace will never end.

Therefore we must not feel all alone in life but we must believe in our God and call him into our lives because he is an able God.
