The Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS) was represented by a strong delegation of road safety experts at the 9th Annual Road Safety Conference.

The conference took place at Bennie’s Park in Ongwediva from 10 to 12 July, with about 70 delegates from different institutions attending.

Under the stewardship of the National Road Safety Council, with the theme of “Improving Road Safety Performance Management”, the conference deliberated on various issues pertaining to the safety of Namibian roads.

The conference also drafted a new annual plan of action within the current Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021-2030.
