On 15 September 2025 the Government Institutions Pension Fund (GIPF) received Ms Josefina Nghituwamata into the role of Communications Practitioner.

Nghituwamata comes from the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) where she served as the communications officer.

“I have been appointed as a communications practitioner for GIPF,” said Nghituwamata.

“My experience at the Anti-Corruption Commission has strengthened my commitment to transparency, accountability, and clear communications, values I intend to carry into this new role.”

Nghituwamata stated that her focus will be “to further strengthen stakeholder engagement, share information proactively and consistently, and ensure that our messaging reflects the Fund’s commitment to good governance and service to its members.

“While GIPF has its own mandate, policies, and values, I believe that open and honest communication builds trust and I will work closely with the team to uphold this standard.

“I am excited to work with everyone on the team as we amplify the voice of GIPF and strengthen our information dissemination efforts.”

Nghituwamata will be working closely with Ms Thirzah Paulus, Ms Katrina Sikeni, and Mr Edwin Tjiramba.
