Mokasi FC is the champion of the Back to Sport Day on the Move 2021 Finals after beating Onelago United at a tournament that took place over the weekend at Omahenene sport field in Ongwediva Constituency.
The win ensured that Mokasi receive cash of N$1550, a floating trophy, gold medals, a ball, a whistle, six training cones, and a captain arm band.
For their efforts, Onelago United received N$1100, a set of socks, a ball, a whistle, six training cones, and a captain arm band.
In third spot was Tenacity FC who received N$550, a ball, six training cones, a whistle, and a captain arm band.
Mvula FC who came third got N$550, a ball, six training cones, a whistle and a captain arm band.
In the veterans category Kalimbo & Friends received N$1200, and a ball, while Omahenene Legends got N$800.
The tournament was sponsored by Kullo Bar & Depot (Opoto, Windhoek, Oshakati), Mama Dolly, Collin TNT, and Mr Elia.
“Our aim is to build up teams again for better football and giving equipment to teams was our main concern,” said Mr Herman Kalimbo, the tournament’s organizer.
