It is all systems go for the inaugural Oshakati Mayoral Cup which will take place from 25 to 29 May 2022.
The three days will see some of the finest footballers in northern Namibia on display at the town’s three stadiums: the Oshakati Independence Stadium, Oshakati UNAM Field, and Embandu Stadium.
Some of the teams from afar which will be in the mix are such as Omuthiya Masters, Ruacana Legends, and Helao Nafidi in the legends category; as well as Tsandi Village, Opuwo Young Rangers, Omandengu, and Khomas Nampol in the youth category who will battle it out for the prestigious trophies, with N$15,000 to be scooped by the winner of the youth category, N$6,000 to be scooped by the winner of the legends category, while the winner of the netball will scoop N$6,000 too.
