Omuthiya United goes to first division

Omuthiya United FC has been promoted to the North East First Division.

The promotion of Omuthiya United is set to bring football activities in Omuthiya gwIipundi to another level.

Omuthiya United will be the second team in Oshikoto Region, together with Chief Santos FC in Tsumeb, playing in this league during the 2023/24 season.

The rest of the North East First Division teams for the 2023/24 Season are:

Rundu Chiefs FC (Rundu), United Stars FC (Rundu), Black Hawks FC (Katima Mulilo), Cuca Tops FC (Rundu), Ntunguru FC (Shinyungwe), Kangweru Black Tops FC (Kangweru), Chief Santos FC(Tsumeb), Oshikango Chiefs FC (Helao Nafidi), KK United FC (Nkurenkuru), Eastern Chiefs FC(Bagani), Omuthiya United FC (Omuthiya), Further Fighters FC (Helao Nafidi).
