Morocco and Norway are among the last eight teams which have advanced to the next knock-out stage of the FIFA Soccer World Cup.

Both Morocco and Norway have made their breakthroughs after delivering major upsets the past weekend by defeating Canada and Brazil. Norway beat Brazil by 2 goals to one, while Morocco beat Canada by 3 goals to nil.

“This world cup is one of the best as it has delivered sterling performances by many of those countries which previously did not stand a chance to go beyond the group stages,” said Simeon Shoopala, a soccer fan in Oshakati.

“The Norway one against Brazil did produce a great upset in the world of soccer as no one really thought that such was possible.

“And with Morocco beating Canada by three goals to nil, that was massive.”
