The Tsumeb Copper Festival Organizing Committee has announced that the 2024 Tsumeb Copper Festival, taking place from 30th October to 2nd November 2024 in Tsumeb, will be under the theme “Celebrating Craftsmanship, Creativity, and Excellence in a Diverse Namibia.”

As the flagship economic and socio-cultural event on Tsumeb’s calendar since its establishment in 2003, the Copper Festival has consistently served as a platform for business promotion, networking, and industry engagement.

“It is a vital event for local and international exhibitors to showcase their products and services to a broad, high-profile audience, while creating key investment and development opportunities for the region,” the Tsumeb Copper Festival Organising Committee said.

Tsumeb, as the industrial town of the Oshikoto Region, offers the perfect setting for this prominent event. With its top-tier hospitality facilities, Tsumeb ensures that participants and visitors experience world-class comfort and service throughout the festival.

“The festival aligns with Namibia’s national economic development goals by fostering entrepreneurship and innovation across key sectors. This year’s event promises even greater value, focusing on small and medium enterprises (SMEs), agricultural advancements, and the creative industries.

Key activities for at the Festival will include a sports day, gospel day, youth conference, women’s day, farmers’ day, business conference, and the awards ceremony.

The official opening will take place on Friday, the 1st November 2024, and will be officiated by Vice President Mrs Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah.
