Hard work never kills
By Josefina Ndeshi Gabriel |
If you think and get to realize that so many people today are looking for a job, and not finding it – you can maybe realize that your job is something that you have to appreciate.
If you think and realize that it’s through your job that you’re earning money to keep you going and living a comfortable life, even if the pay is small – maybe you can realize that your job is not something to play with.
So, now, if your job is the work you do everyday to earn money or to be paid a salary end of every month, then it means that working hard will lead you to more money or better pay, or to promotion, or to happiness in your life.
Of course money is not everything. People don’t work just for the money. People work so that they can serve other people. You share your knowledge, skills, and ability to help people through your work.
Some people don’t love their work, but they love their money which comes from their work.
If you love your work or you don’t love your work so much, at least you owe it to the people for the knowledge and skills which you are expected to share through your work so that the world will be a better place.
There is no useless work if the work is contributing to the betterment of the world. Even if you’re a cleaner, your work is contributing to a better world. If you’re a taxi driver, your work is helping people.
So now if you know that your work is helping people, then you have to work hard. Hard work never kills but it only makes you to do a better job which will bring happiness not only to the people you serve but also to yourself.
Think about the smile you put on people’s faces for doing a good job. So, hard work never kills you but it builds you up.
