Disconnect yourself from evil deeds
By Josefina Gabriel|
Most people will agree that last year was one year that will go down in history as one of the darkest times of our lives. A time of fear and confusion. Of pain, suffering and little hope for those affected by Covid-19, or just affected by lockdowns and health regulations.
It has been a time of uncertainty and chaos for most businesses, families and individuals as the new normal kicked in and campaigns for vaccinations kicked off.
But with the beginning of a new year, comes new hope and a chance to move forward towards a future where hopes and dreams can once again be reached.
Yet all the hope we may have as a nation and as individuals will depend on our ability to disconnect ourselves from evil deeds.
This year must be the year for good deeds. Government and community leaders will have to show their honesty and that their minds are free of evil deeds.
But individuals will also have to disconnect their minds from evil deeds. This is the only way we can keep ourselves healthy and safe. Our health both physically, mentally, and spiritually will depend on whether we have disconnected ourselves from evil deeds, evil thoughts and evil intentions.
What goes round comes round for those who wish bad things to happen to others, those who want to harm others and those who cannot disconnect themselves from evil deeds.
Rather let us spread the love, share the goodwill and hold hands as we go into the new year in order to restore hope in dreams that have been shattered and reignite passion in the plans we have been forced to put on hold.
Despite the challenging times, a good season always will come out of our good deeds.
