Backup yourself with God’s word

Life, too often, gives you more reasons to feel all is well with you and there is enough for you to relax thinking life is good and comfortable without any helper or a sponsor.
But just the next day you wake up feeling miserable, or in a state of shock as a result of things beyond your control, or something makes you lonely or depressed and start to realize that you need a hand from somewhere.
No matter the level of your education, or the size of your bank account or depth of your knowledge – without someone on your side you can always be empty.
There is someone that you will need more than you need a person, someone you can trust at all times to tell all your secrets. And that is Jesus Christ, your best friend that you can trust more than any person. He is your helper, healer, your strength and your everyday hope, the one and only you can always count on.
How to find him then? Through praying and meditating on his word in the Bible. Try it and see the miracle, take that Bible and open it and read it and you can hear his voice.
He has made a promise not to forsake you. As the Apostle Paul states confidently that the Lord will stand at your side and he will give you strength. {2 Timothy 4:17}. He is your rock and salvation, your fortress.
Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” What is not God’s plan is not for us, but he has all the good plans for us. You don’t need to worry.
The only thing you need to bear in mind is that God has a reason for allowing things to happen. You will never understand his wisdom; you just need to trust his will. {Psalm: 37: 7} be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him.
Roman 8:18 the pain that you have been feeling can’t compare to the joy that is coming.
He is God who never changes and he is not a liar, he only needs your trust, keep his way. He doesn’t change because the world changed or a God that can work according to seasons but by his word and will. {Hebrew 13:8} says that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Be on your guard, stand firm in faith, be courageous, be strong. {1 Corinthians: 16:13}
