Taal Investment, Uzuni Trading and Nkurenkuru Plaza were the biggest winners at The Namibian Newspaper Cup that took place last weekend as these businesses were the sponsors of the team that won the competition.
Kavango West regional soccer team for the first time won the competition after overcoming the host team Otjozondjupa in the final.
Before the team left for Otjiwarongo to participate in the competition, Taal Investment sponsored two sets of playing gear for netball and soccer, while Nkurenkuru Plaza sponsored T-shirts and caps for the whole delegation that was to represent Kavango West Region.
In addition, Uzuni Trading and Rendezvous jointly sponsored shorts (truck pants) to the teams.
