Namibian boxer Tryagain Ndevelo on Sunday got off on a lucky start as he was handed his first win when his opponent failed to make it in time to the ring.
Ndevelo was supposed to fight with Trinidad and Tobago boxer Anthony Joseph in the 60kg category but Joseph was late to step into the ring, so that Ndevelo was declared the winner by walkover.
The Commonwealth Games taking place in Glasgow, Scotland, from 23 July to August 2026.
