Sweety Namibia took to the stage yesterday to entertain a crowd gathered at the official opening of the Ohangwena Agri-food Confex.
The Conference-Expo taking place in Eenhana has attracted 98 exhibitors, ministries, corporates, SMEs, and small scale farmers from Ohangwena and other neighboring regions.
Sweety Namibia, a young lady who hails from Onainghundudu village in Eenhana Constituency, had a moment to display her talent to the invited guests as well as the locals who gathered to listen to the speech of Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform Ms Anna Shiweda.
Those in attendance included dignitaries such as Ohangwena Governor Walde Ndevashiya, World Food Programme (WFP) director Dr. George Fedha, Minister of ICT Peya Mushelenga, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security Daniel Vladimir Kashikola, Eenhana Mayor Omri-Onn Kavandje and regional councilors.
Sweety performed a few hits from her upcoming album titled “Pelenge Naame Omwali”. The album consists of 12 tracks and is expected to be released in September.
