On the evening of Wednesday, 27 March, Nedbank Namibia held its annual employee Top Achievers Awards 2023 ceremony under the theme “celebrating the success of your rhythm in harmony”.
The top achievers’ awards recognise the performance and contributions of employees who have made a significant impact in the company’s success in the previous year.
At the event, a total of 15 award categories were presented and the winners were chosen based on their outstanding performance in the 2023 financial year.
In addition to the individual awards, the bank also recognised top performing teams which highlighted the importance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving success.
The categories included, Top 5 Sales Individual Awards, Top Sales Team, Top 5 Support/Service Individuals, Top Support/Service Team, Top Branch Award, Best Teller of the Year Award, Customer Service Champion Award, Leadership Award, Top Project Team Award, Top 4 Achievers, and MD Award just to mention a few.
The winners walked away with certificates of appreciation, and incentives for their hard work.
Nedbank Namibia Managing Director Martha Murorua, at the event mentioned the pertinence of hosting the top achievers award ceremony, and how it contributes to the overall goal of employee retention.
“In our journey through 2023, we have indeed danced to the rhythm of harmony, blending the diverse talents, passions, and aspirations of our people that have shaped our collective spirit,” Murorua enthused.
