Namibia’s national senior football team, the Brave Warriors, continues on its sloppy path towards the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 in Morocco with a second loss in its first two games.
Namibia lost by 2 goals to one against Kenya last night in Johannesburg, after losing to Cameroon by one goal to nil a few days ago.
“Especially the loss to Kenya is very troubling,” says Jackson Ndjene, a football enthusiast from Ompumbu, Oshakati.
“Namibia can lose to Cameroon, especially that one-nil loss was okay. But losing to Kenya? That is just beyond what one can expect after the good showing of Namibia at the last AFCON.”
With Namibia currently sitting at the bottom of the group, Ndjene says it stands to be seen if Namibia will ever salvage its hopes in the next game against Zimbabwe.
